Bambi and Bergdorf Summer Holiday.

If you have ever been to New York, I expect you would have visited Bergdorf Goodman. Bergdorf Godoman is like a fashionistas heaven, it is New York's ultimate fashion destination consisting of the most luxurious and lust-worthy fashion labels. This season, Bergdorf Goodman has teamed up with none other than Aussie model-of-the-moment Bambi Northwood-Blyth to create their Resort 2012 lookbook exploding with amazing colour, exceptional pieces and pure happiness.
The lookbook represents the sun, beach and relaxed attitude that comes with the holiday season and photographer Cass Bird was behind the lens producing these colourful and carefree images of beauty. Recreating a summer holiday vibe Bambi wears designs by Marc Jacobs, Roberto Cavalli, Moschino, Derek Lam and Jean Paul Gaultier producing a kaleidoscope of colours in white, blues, reds and bright patterns. Kaftans, flowing silk dresses and short shifts make up this holiday wardrobe as Bambi recreates everything you love about summer including the feeling of the sun in your eyes, salty hair, sandy feet, sunkissed skin and cold fruit smoothies. Ahh, holiday season really is utter bliss.

In every woman's wardrobe you are guaranteed to find those fail safe items that she just can't seem to let go. These are the items that you go back to time and time again, the items proving to pass the test of time. They are classic, simple and chic. They are the outfits perfect for those days when you have nothing to wear, a night out when you are undecided of the specific dress code or the outfit you can throw on as you rush out the door yet still look impeccable.
These wardrobe proof items and outfits include big light-weight scarfs, red on red, the classic LBD, tribal pants and white shirt, double print and bright colour. And who could forget the most chic mode of transport, accessorising with a bike for those hot summer days cruising around in the salty air. All of these woman come from different places around the globe from Rio de Janeiro, Paris and Sydney. And although they all come from different times and walks of life, woman around the globe will forever have one thing in common: the appreciation and love of finding those pieces in your wardrobe that can be recreated time and time again.

Rag & Bone: DIY Beautiful.

I've always been a firm believer that minimal is more beautiful, like the old saying, less is more. This is the concept that New York label Rag and Bone have captured for their latest campaign titled D.I.Y Project. With no stylist, no hair and make up and no lightening, it's 'just a girl, her camera and her favourite Rag and Bone.'
Rag and Bone supplied each girl with a bag of their clothes, a digital camera and four little words 'do as you please.' The results... minimal perfection. These images indulge into the intimate, unique personalities of each beauty showing their true natural beauty minus the staged production. The brand wanted to represent a 'cool,' downtown New York girl and show how each model puts clothes together in her own personal way. Possessing your own sense of style is what the whole campaign aims to capture.
Models including Sasha Pivovarova, Abby Lee Kershaw, Lily Aldridge, Miranda Kerr and Karolina Kurkova got to explore their inner photography skills creating raw, unprocessed images. Most models chose to take their images at the beach encapsulating the natural environment, which the whole concept is about. These intimate photos reflect fun, distinctive personalities across different points of the world and capture each moment in time. The thing I love most about this campaign is it proves that you don't need all the make up, styling, hair and photographers to look amazing, we are all beautiful in our own unique ways. Ultimately, beauty comes from the inside, the confident glow that you radiate when you're comfortable in your own skin and this is exactly what is expressed in each of these photos.

Best of Bosworth.

We all know Kate Bosworth, she is the Californian beauty with the distinctive one blue eye and one brown eye who first appeared on our radar as bronzed surfer girl in Blue Crush. However, she is now on our radar not only for her choice in movie roles but for her stylistic choices on and off the red carpet that provide the perfect mix between sleek chic and grunge rock. The 28-year-old is the epitome of LA dressing and can pull off everything from sophisticated red carpet gowns to understated street style.
We all try to emulate Kate's perfect style for every occasion with style mantra in mind: less is always more. Kate manages to always grace the best-dressed lists whether she's in red leather pants, feminine lace, scalloped shorts and blazer or that famous barely there red Calvin Klein dress. Favouring bright pops of block colour, nude tones and her staple outfit of denim shorts, tee and boots her simple style with an edgy twist is one to be admired.
Queen of Coachella music festival attire, her natural, sunny Californian glow makes her the perfect candidate for summer dressing. Chic, sophisticated and right-on-trend Kate will always be my favourite bronzed beauty- and not just because we're both Capricorns!

Miranda Kerr... Housewife in Harper's.

Miranda Kerr is one smokin' hot mumma! She graces the cover of Harper's Bazaar Australia November issue reminding us all why she continues to be Australia's hottest export. Showing no signs of having given birth to son, Flynn, only 10 months prior, 28-year-old Mrs Bloom looked immaculately flawless.
Australia's favourite supermodel channels her inner Italian goddess meets housewife in this season's hottest colours and prints. Floral prints, turbans, retro inspired swimwear and full skirts were all favoured for this housewife as she is seen on the cover wearing an Isola by Megan Gale bikini top and a Mary Katrantzou skirt and in other shots draping in Bvlgari jewels. With a dream team consisting of Simon Lekias behind the lens and Jillian Davison in charge of styling it is no wonder this shoot can only be described as high fashion at its finest.
When asked about her role as a mother Kerr said "it's the best thing I have ever done, becoming a mother puts everything into perspective. You become more comfortable in your own skin." And this shows as Miranda is captured going about her everyday duties like watching television, gracefully lounging around on the couch, fixing herself in the mirror and laying naked on the bed reading the morning paper in nothing but a turban and high heels. If only we could all look so impeccably stylish doing our everyday duties we too might call Orlando Bloom ours... one can only dream.

The style diaries of Christine Centenera

It's no surprise that I absolutely adore Christine Centenera (who doesn't!) and follow her stylistic choices like it was a matter of life or death. Her recent stint around the European fashion shows left a trail of street style photographers tripping over their feet trying to capture her every look. Christine Centenera is of course the magazine insider that has left the world green with envy.
From her Givenchy Indian inspired tee to her Ostwalk Helegason cobweb-like knit and Miu Miu skirt, Josh Goot puff jacket and Balenciago skirt, the Australian Harper's Bazaar Fashion Editor never manages to step a foot wrong. Her minimal, boyish look can be easily translated from a casual lunch date to a night out. The thing I love most about Centenera is her ability to put everyday pieces together whether it's a plain white tee, basic tank or your staple black bandage skirt and mix these with a few statement pieces for a I just woke up and threw this on but still look amazing look
She religiously graces the street style blogs and is the epitome of statement chic reminding us why she holds the title of Fashion Editor. She prefers to accessories with statement jewelry and shoes rather than handbags and is always seen sporting her blue Hermes notebook instead of the latest "it" bag like many other fashion insiders. Centenera is in an element of her own not just with her style choices but her lust worthy hair that one can only dream to have. It's choppy and often a little messy which complements her thrown together look perfectly. This is one style diary you wish you could call your own!
